Anthony J. Ragusa of Pomona, NY passed away at home on March 7, 2014. He was 56.
The son of Geraldine Anderson Ragusa and the late Gaetano Ragusa, he was born on May 21, 1957 Bronx, NY.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Ragusa of Wurtsboro; a sister: Annette Ortiz and her husband, Joseph also of Wurtsboro; sister-in-law; Victoria Ragusa, of Congers, NY. Arcade Days, Cousins Day and Baseball for Dollars will never be forgotten by Anthony's seven nieces & nephews: Jennifer Bryce of Hillsborough, NJ, Edward Natale, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA, Thomas Natale of Congers, NY, Michelle Ragusa of Pearl River, NY, Anna-Marie Natale of Haverstraw, NY, Michael Ragusa of Austin, TX and Amy Donnelly of Evans Mills, NY.
Anthony was predeceased by his father, Gaetano "Tommy" Ragusa; a sister, Anna Natale; brothers: Gaetano "Guy" Ragusa and John Ragusa.
His Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial of his ashes will follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery in Bloomingburg.
