Betty T. Helm of Wurtsboro, a retired sales clerk for Dora Dale Dress Shop in Middletown, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 83. The daughter of the late George Tomlinson and Myrtie Mae Singleton Tomlinson, she was born August 6, 1930 in Memphis, Tennessee. She is survived by two daughters: Terrie Lynn Helm of Wurtsboro, and Barbara Geisenheimer & her husband Jack of Middletown; a son: Mark L. Helm & his wife Linda of Ladson, SC; grandchildren: Brandon C. Helm, Jared W. Geisenheimer and Max A. Geisenheimer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: George Tomlinson & his wife Adele, and Walter Tomlinson & his wife Betty; and a sister: Margaret Boston & her husband Landon. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 18 at 2:00pm at the Sylvan Cemetery, Route 209 in Wurtsboro.
