Our deepest condolences to all the Porpora Family on the loss of a great and very warmhearted man. Bob and Anita always made every visit a wonderful experience to Rock Hill. We shared many summers working together at the Dodge Inn and no matter what the situation, Bob found humor in everything. He was big hearted, kind and always ready with a good story. I will always remember his laugh and his ability to make all people part of his growing family. May his spirit and zest for life remain alive in each of you. Love Millie and John Porpora

I want to express my deepest condolences to the entire Porpora Family. I have known Father Bob and his father Bob for a number of years through the Cursillo Movement and the Catholic Prison Ministry. I will never forget Bob Sr. for his funny sense of humor and the kind words of wisdom that I needed to hear. He is such a great family man of his faith and he was such a great access to the forgotten souls in prison who will never forget him as well. I will be praying for the entire Porpora Family during the Men's Cursillo Retreat this weekend March 20 to 23 because that is where I will be. Peace, Love, and DeColores......Paul

We would like to express our condolences to the entire Porpora Family at the passing away of Bob, or as we liked to call him " Fr. Bob's father Bob". I would describe Bob as a Real Family Man, a Happy Man with a contagious laugh, a Man of Faith, a Man who shared his Faith openly, a Man who, "for years" ministered to and was a Friend to The Forgotten Souls in Prison; most of all Bob was and will remain "My Friend and Prison Partner". We will miss him very much and we will pray for him, BUT we will never forget him or what we have learned from him. Bob was " THE REAL DEAL" With Love and Respect, Jimmy Dennedy and Family
