Robert Meore of Burlingham, NY, entered into rest on Sunday March 2, 2014. He was 77. The son of the late Frank and Elenore Meore, he was born on September 25, 1936 in Goshen, NY.
Robert retired from Wakefern Food Corporation in 2002. He was a retired member of Walton Engine & Hose Company in Chester NY, a past member of Sparkill Fire Department, Piermont Fire Department and Nanuet Fire Department.
Robert is survived by his wife, JoAnn Meore of Burlingham NY; a son, Robert W. Meore; daughters, Robin Scullin, Rebecca Cohen; daughter-in-law, Toni Redner; son-in-law, Brett Cohen; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Meore, Jessica DeRosa, Kayden Hunt, Sydnie Meore and Britnie Meore; grandson, Wyatt Cohen; sisters, Louise, Pauline, Marion, Theresa, Helen and Irene; brothers, Frances and Charlie. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald F. Meore; and brothers, Gregory, Paul and Louis.
Fire Department service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Walton Engine & Hose Company, 81 Main St., Chester, NY.
