Kenneth Earl Crockett of Monticello, NY, passed away on July 18, 2012. He was 25 years old. Born March 21st, 1987 in Middletown, NY, he was the son of Carmen Santos and Earl Crockett. A loving and devoted son, nephew, brother and friend, Kenny was always smiling, and lived life to the fullest. He will always be remembered for his caring ways and his big heart. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do for anyone. You never had to ask; if he knew there was a need, he would help. Kenneth worked for Sullivan ARC for several years, and was also a licensed Cosmetologist. No matter what field Kenny chose to work in, his aim was to make everyone feel good and look good. He is survived by his mother, Carmen Santos of Monticello, NY; his father, Earl Crockett of Johnson City, NY; Grandfather, Victor Claudio of Monticello, NY; Grandmother, Vernice Crockett of Mount Vernon, NY; devoted Godparents, Joseph and Sherryl McNeal of Monticello, NY; five sisters, Kamiyah Rodgers of Monticello, NY; Mercedes Crockett of Johnson City, NY; Tiara Neil of Ithaca, NY; Selena and Sonya McNeal, both of Monticello, NY; three brothers, Baron, Joseph, and David (Rosetta) McNeal, all of Monticello, NY; Seven Aunts, Providencia (Brent) Cameron of Bloomingburg, NY; Lissette Santos of New York, NY; Patsy McCoy of Monticello, NY; Geneva (Danny) Gonzalez-Morris of Baltimore, MD; Glennys Ashley of Utica, NY; Martha (Allen) Malone of Arizona; Octavia (AV) Gandy of Richmond, VA; Seven Uncles, Sixto(Jenny) Martinez of Rock Hill, NY; Kenneth Crockett of Mount Vernon, NY; Noel and Eliel Santos, and Domingo Martinez, all of Puerto Rico; Joe Gonzalez of New Jersey; John (Nancy) Gonzalez of Middletown, NY; and Ozzie (Sharon) Gonzalez of Smallwood, NY. He leaves behind a special friend, Donnella Gray, and a host of cousins and family and friends. Kenny is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Lydia Torres and Great grandmother, Julia Gonzalez. Wake services will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 5pm - 9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello, NY. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 12pm, at Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road, Monticello, NY. Burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
