Duval Brown, a former employee of various Sullivan County resorts, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at his home in Monticello. He was 74.
The son of the late Selbert Brown and Daisy Reid Brown, he was born March 15, 1938 in Jamaica.
He is survived by a son: Curt E. Brown; a daughter: Khaydeen Brown; two grandchildren: Stefan and Sian Brown; a brother: Gervan Walker; his wife and mother of his children: Mervis Brown; and his church family & friends.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 12:00 noon at the Kings Chapel Mission, Spring Street in Monticello with Rev. Michael Williams officiating. Family & friends are invited to gather at the church from 11:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, NY.
