Barbara Joan Poharski Terwilliger of Bloomingburg, a self-employed nurse's aide and lifelong resident of the area, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 60.
The daughter of the late Walter Plocharczyk and June Rose Roe, she was born November 18, 1951 in Middletown.
She is survived by two brothers: Larry Plocharczyk of Bloomingburg, and Joseph Plocharczyk & his wife Doris of Yulan; a sister: Beverly Weston & her husband Joe of Laughlin, NV; nieces and nephews: Wendy, Beth, Jasen, Amy, Joe and Laura; and many area friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: James Terwilliger; and a sister-in-law: Rose McGlone.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, June 27 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Hewitt officiating.
