Obituary of Lenora D. Damms

Lenora D. Damms of Summitville, a former employee of Channel Master in Ellenville, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty. She was 81.
The daughter of the late Clinton Lybolt and Margaret Doolittle Lybolt, she was born April 29, 1931 in Port Jervis.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Harold E. Damms Sr., at home; two sons: Scott Damms and Roger Damms; six daughters: Kimberly Wingert, Wendy Damms, Cindy Quick, Kelly Decker, Laura McDonnell and Gail Dorsett; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two daughters: Alice Damms and Linda McIntosh; two sons: Edward Damms and Harold E. Damms Jr.; and a grandson: Billy Walsh.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, June 25 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sylvan Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
