Robert J. Ketcham of Kiamesha Lake, a lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh following a long illness. The son of the late Howard Ketcham and Virginia Mulhair, he was born August 30, 1948 in Mount Pleasant, PA. Bob was a Vietnam War veteran having served in the United States Army. He was a retired Lieutenant with the New York State Dept. of Corrections and was a member of the Rock Hill Fire Dept. Bob loved sports and was an avid golfer. He lived life fully and will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Alyce; his daughters: Kim Prior (Jim) and Karen Scuderi (Frank); three grandchildren; two sisters: Debra Mulhair Ramsperger (John) and Charlene Rhein (Tom); two stepbrothers: George Mulhair (Barbara) and William Mulhair; many nieces and nephews; and his Aunt Molly. He was predeceased by his first wife Patti. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, June 18 from 5-8pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Burial and graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00am at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road in Liberty with Rev.
