Obituary of Dorothy L. Moore

Dorothy L. Moore October 25, 1940-June 3, 2012 Monticello, NY Dorothy L. Moore of Monticello passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the age of 71. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked for many years as a home health aide, she loved to sew and garden. Dorothy enjoyed traveling and meeting new people which she loved, and they loved her. She will be truly missed, although she will always be watching over us. Dorothy is survived by three children, Jason J. Moore, and his wife Goldie Moore, Robert T. Bennett, and Mary Ann Bennett, and her husband Jeffrey Dubois; her grandchildren, Serenity Moore, Jason K. Moore, Philicity R. Santillo, Jared Santillo, Sarah Bennett Merola, and her husband Greg, Andre Dubois and his wife Christina, Madia Mioglionico and her husband Daniel; her great grandchildren, Ethan Dubois, Nathan Merola, Savannah Mioglionico, David Mioglionico, and Tyler Dubois. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2012, from 10:00am-12:00pm, at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello, New York 12701. Funeral services will begin following the visitation at 12:00pm at the funeral home, with Rev. John Thomason officiating. Dorothy will then be laid to rest in the Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery in Hudson, New York. Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
