Richard Gideon Edwards (Mr. Ed) born on June 27th, 1943, to Richard H. Edwards and Julia M. Holmes-Edwards passed away May 5th, 2012 at his residence. Richard was a life long resident of the area. He was employed as a mechanic, equipment operator, and truck driver through out the course of his life. Richard leaves behind two brothers, Reginald Edwards his wife Kenne Edwards and Daniel Edwards and his wife Carol Edwards, all currently reside in South Carolina. He also leaves behind two sisters, Martha Robinson and Evelyn Vandermark and her husband Keith Vandermark, of Monticello NY. Richard furthermore leaves behind three children, John H. Edwards his wife Susan Edwards, Joseph L. Edwards his wife Jenifer Edwards, Sayde M. Edwards and two grandchildren, Sebastian Oles and Rayne Edwards. Plus numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many friends and loved ones. The services will be graveside at the Bloomingburg Cemetery at Noon on May, 12th, 2012. Rev. Roy Shaffer will officiate.
