Joan Travis Cuff of Forestburgh, daughter of Clarence M. Travis Jr. and Marjorie Coffey Travis, went to Heaven on Thursday, April 12, 2012. She was 81.
Joan was born in Nyack, NY on July 31, 1930. She spent her 81 years on this planet sharing, love, joy and kindness with friends and family. She will forever remain in the hearts of all that knew her.
She leaves behind George, her beloved husband and best friend of 62 years; her two sons: Christopher, at home and George Jr., and his wife Josephine and granddaughter Sarah, all of New Britain, CT; her daughter, Janet Cuff Bonfoey, and her husband, Louis, and grandson Brian, all of Colchester, CT; her other grandchildren: Jeffrey Bonfoey and Isabel Bardwell-Jones; and her great grandchildren: Gabriella and Aedan, all of them from Centerville, MD.
All of this was her kingdom, all of these were her treasures.
There will be no visitation. A private farewell will be at the convenience of the family.

The family is extremely grateful for the loving care that was extended to Joan and the entire family.
