Donald "Don" Feller a lifelong resident of Monticello passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at home after a long courageous battle with lung disease. He was 64. Don was born in Monticello on October 18, 1947 to Ralph Feller and the late Della Mae Feller. He was a retired maintenance foreman for the Village of Monticello Sewer Department. Don loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of Bear Paw Hunting Club in Southwoods, where he had many lifelong friends. The outdoors and the hunting lodge was Don's home away from home. In addition to his father Ralph Feller he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Feller at home; a son, David Feller of Jeffersonville; a daughter, Laura King of Monticello; the lights of his life; his grandson, Jacob King and his granddaughter Hunter King; a brother, Al Feller and his wife, Sally; sister-in-law Bonnie Jackson and her husband, James Jackson of Fredericksburg, VA; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 12-1pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sullivan County Conservation Club, P.O.
