Rose M. DiIorio of Bloomingburg, NY passed away peacefully on April 8, Easter morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY.
Born Rose Pasterello to the late Salvatore Pastorello and Lena Ricotta Pastorello in Brooklyn, NY on April 22, 1927. Rose was just two weeks shy of her 85th birthday.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Nicholis DiIorio at home; her four beloved children: Ann Abrahamson, Alan, Ronald and Michael Reale; her cherished grandchildren: Jacqueline, Jessica, Brian and Erik; her devoted siblings: Boris Pastorello and Terry Matrochano; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Salvatore Reale.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the VanInwegen- Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro, New York. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 11 at 11:00am at Our Lady Assumption Church, High Street, Bloomingburg. Fr. Stephen Tran will officiate. Burial will take place Thursday at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens.
