Obituary of Christina Lee Brown-O'Dell

Christina Lee Brown-O'Dell of Summitville, a home health aide for Wellcare in Middletown, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 54. The daughter of Leora Kinney Wilcox and the late Earl W. Wilcox, she was born November 1, 1957 in Syracuse. Christina loved her family immensely, and always made time to be with them. Her whole life revolved around them, especially her grandchildren. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives, Until we meet again. She is survived by her husband: John R. O'Dell, at home; her mother: Leora Wilcox of Wurtsboro; a son: Kenneth A. Brown Sr. of Summitville; two daughters: Kimberly A. Conklin & her husband Daniel of Wurtsboro, and Heather N. Padua & her husband Sean of Ellenville; thirteen grandchildren; two brothers: Keith Root of New Hampton and Scott Root of Chittenango; two sisters: Suzanne Wilcox of Marathon, FL, and Brenda LaVerdure & her husband Scott of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the Summitville Fire House on Monday evening, however an additional service will be held at a later date.
