Obituary of Linda Lee Gregory

Linda Lee Gregory of Monticello, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 59.
The daughter of the late George Rupp Sr. and Hilda Cobb Rupp, she was born November 6, 1952 in Liberty.
Linda was a real animal lover: dogs, ducks, rabbits and her parrot, Taco. She also loved wildlife including raccoons, deer and even used to feed peanuts to the squirrels right from her hand.
She is survived by her husband: David Gregory, at home; two brothers: George Rupp of Forestburgh and Albert Rupp of Rock Hill; two sisters: Helen Calhoun of Monticello and Valerie Rupp of Forestburgh; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Frank Rupp and Allan Rupp.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 23 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. John Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
