Obituary of Victoria Storm Erickson

Victoria Storm Erickson of Monticello, a kindergartner at Cooke Elementary School, who's passion was cheering for Mafco, passed away in a tragic house fire on Sunday, February 5, 2012. The daughter of Kimberly (Kearney) Freer and Danny Erickson, she was born on December 8, 2005. In addition to her parents she leaves behind two brothers; Shawn Kearney, 13 & Francis J. Freer Jr., 3, both of Monticello; four sisters: Kayla Robinson, 12, Sara Robinson, 10, Christine Kearney, 9 & Mya Erickson, 4 all of Monticello; grandparents: Theresa & Mike Walcott, of Monticello, Dennis and Kathy Kearney, of Thompsonville; a loving uncle; Dennis Kearney Jr., of Monticello, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins Victoria, whom most knew as Tori, was not only a beautiful and brilliant girl she also was the sparkle in her Mommy's eyes. She will dearly missed and forever "Loved". Tori was predeceased by her fraternal grandparents Ronald & Dolores Erickson. "Rest in Peace our little Queen. Gone but never forgotten. You are in our Hearts forever." Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral service will follow at 9pm at the funeral home with Rev. John Thomason officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in Victoria's name to Mafco Youth Football & Cheerleading Organization, P.O Box 153, Rock Hill, NY 12775. A trust fund has been established to aid Victoria's siblings in their struggles following the tragic fire.
