Jack also served on the Advisory Committee to Sullivan County's Office for the Aging. For many years he helped organize the Senior Olympics Games in Monticello. He also volunteered through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program at the Chase School in Wurtsboro. While living on Wolf Lake, Jack sat on the Board of Directors for many years and in his spare time could be seen out on the lake fishing.
