Dear Sanford and family. Mrs. Lazarowics was my 7th grade English teacher. She was a wonderful role model and an excellent teacher. Her enthusiasm and love of language was contagious. I have a degree in English due to her example and inspiration. Her smile was as big as her heart. She knew my dad, Charles Everett and she graciously came to pay her respects at the time of his death in 1999. It was so good to see her again. I have a photo from that day which I cherish. I wish you sincere condolences and prayers at this difficult time.

My sympathy is with Adelle's family. I knew Adelle from our Investment Club and from our children taking ballet together. I would often see Adelle at St. Peter's for mass.

Mrs. Lazarowics was my 7th grade English teacher, and one of the most memorable of all the teachers I had. She was gifted, energetic, encouraging, imaginative, and dedicated.
When I was a college student, I worked as a waitress and Sandels (a combination of her husband and her names). Later, I too, became an English teacher. She certainly influenced me.
I am greatly saddened to learn of her death.

I first knew Adelle (Miss Lapinski) as a wonderful English teacher in Liberty in 1953-54,caring,fun,vibrant with a huge smile. She directed plays and was a special teacher/friend to all. She lit a candle in her
students. Now I light a candle in her memory. RIP.

Dear Family....Mrs.Lazarowicswas one of my favorite teachers back in the 70's. Always serious, but definitely committed to the "art" of teaching. She was fun in the classroom and always made learning an adventure! I will never forget her assigning as homework for the english class to watch " Little House on the Prairrie", which i still happily and enjoy watching today. RIP Mrs. La-Zar-O-Wics!!! (that was how the class learned to correctly pronounce her name)
