Obituary of James J. Marotta

James John Marotta of Summitville, the former head of security for the Homowack Lodge in Spring Glen, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 66.
The son of the late Dominick Marotta and Josephine Davi Marotta, he was born April 11, 1946 in the Bronx.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon Klein Marotta, at home; three sons: Anthony Marotta of Summitville, Jeff Marotta & his wife Amanda of Atlantic City, NJ and James Marotta of Denver, CO; a granddaughter: Jenna; his sister: Anne Marotta of Wurtsboro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother: Frederick.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, January 24 from 5-8pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A prayer service will be held at some time in the evening.
