Obituary of Robert V. Creque

The sun rose for Vincent and Alice on October 1, 1958 when their first born son Robert Vincent arrived. Robert a native of The Bronx, a natural born entrepreneur who knew how to make a dollar at an early age. Dependable, friendly and always smiling, he lived life to the fullest. Robert lived the majority of his life in the beautiful Catskill mountains of Sullivan County. He always marveled at the fall foliage during his early days in Monticello. We would affectionately call him mountain man since we grew up in the city! Our youngest sister Valerie would call he and his family nanook of the north when they would arrive in Maryland all wrapped up with warm coats and hats. Anthony and Robert were always chasing that next hot lotto number. A loving brother who would give you the shirt off his back, always there as our protector. Robert worked as a driver for Alman Monti Taxi Corporation for many years. Providing friendly service to the locals of Sullivan County for local trips as well as medical transport to NYC and the surrounding Counties. Left to preserve the family heritage are his siblings Leslie Creque-Davis of Maryland, Anthony Creque of New Jersey and Valerie Creque-Johnson of Maryland. His wife Loreen Burns-Creque and their children Alleyesia, Vincent and Ashlee Creque. He was also a loving father to Catalina, Connor, Justyn and Kelli Conklin; Latasha Spignolio and Sekena Washington, and grandfather to Tariq. Also left to their fond memories of Robert are a multitude of nieces, nephews cousins and many friends. ..........
