Ernestine Louella Royster of Livingston Manor, formerly of Monticello and Brooklyn, passed away on Friday, October 7th, 2011 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla after a longtime illness. She was 49. She is survived by her father: George V. Brown Sr.; her husband: Ronald Royster Sr.; she was mother to four loving children: Tawanya DeFranca, Latisha Brown, Ronald Royster Jr., and Rhonda Royster; three grandchildren: Michael & Gloria Clark and Tawanya Harrington; eight loving brothers & sisters: Janice Knight of Ellenwood, GA, Clarence Brown of Jonesboro, GA, George V. Brown Jr. of Brooklyn, Sarah Brown of Dallas, TX, Patricia Brown of Ellenville, Thomas Brown of Poughkeepsie, Larry Brown of San Diego, CA and Byron Brown of Bronx, NY; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She has gone to rest with her mother, Frances Mary Brown, in heaven. The family would like to thank Mirema Judy Jonathan and Lisette at the Westchester Medical Center MICU for their kindness and sincere efforts. You've all made this journey comfortable for Ernestine. May you be blessed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21 from 6-8pm at the First Baptist Church, 28 Liberty Street in Monticello with Rev. James Matthews officiating.
