Juan D. Rodriguez, a retired breakfast cook for the Concord Resort Hotel, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 70.
The son of the late Justo Rodriguez and Josephine Diaz, he was born June 3, 1941 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Roberta, at home; three sons: Carlos Rodriguez & his wife Stella of Otisville, Rafael Rodriguez of Boca Raton, FL and Juan Rodriguez Jr. of San Antonio, TX; a daughter: Linda Rodriguez of Spring Hill, FL; eight grandchildren: Keara Ann, Matthew, Cassandra, Marie, Shandi, Jon Trenton, David and Skylar; two brothers: Lorenzo and Roberto; and a sister: Roberta; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law: Marie (Harold) Teller; a brother-in-law: Clarence (Jane) Rundle; and his dogs: Chuckles and Brandi.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, October 8 from 5-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A prayer service will be held at some time during the visitation.
