Joan M. Mosack of Woodridge, NY passed away on September 11, 2011 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 72 years old. Joan was born in Buffalo, NY on January 27, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Kotansky. On September 12, 1959 she married John Francis Mosack, who predeceased her. Joan was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and known to her four great grandchildren as "Great Mother". Joan was an avid golfer and dubbed "Down the Middle Mosack" by her friends at Pine Forest Country Club in Summerville, SC, where she served as Vice President and President of the Ladies Golf Association. She is survived by her loving children, Anne Kaplan and her husband, Phil of Woodridge, and Robert Mosack and his wife, Kristen of Lake Katrine; her brother, William Kotansky and his wife, Mary of Lancaster, NY. She was the loving grandmother of Heather and her husband, Steve, Eddie and his wife, Eryn, Randi, Nicole and her husband, Gary, Rachel and Corin. She was also the loving "Great Mother" of her great grandchildren Kaylee, Steven, Jonas and Madelyn. Her memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10:00am at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro, NY with Fr. Peter Madori officiating.
