Robert R. Cuoco, aka "Broadway Bob", a longtime area resident, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2011 in Liberty. He was 69. The son of the late Pasquale Cuoco and Mary Lanzano Cuoco, he was born July 26, 1942 in Brooklyn. Bob was well-known around Monticello, having owned and operated Broadway Discount Foods for many years. Survivors include his daughter, Denise Sebolsky and her husband, Jess; a brother, Patrick Cuoco and his wife, Mary Rose; grandson, T.J. Bowers; nephews, Patrick and John Cuoco, and a nieces, Donna, and their families. Visitation will be on Monday, August 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. George & St. Francis Catholic Church, 97 Schoolhouse Hill Rd., Jeffersonville, on Tuesday, August 23, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Youngsville.
