Raymon Cole, an automobile salesman and lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at his home in Monticello. He was 62. The son of the late Isadore R. Raymond and Viola E. Johnson Raymond, he was born September 26, 1948 in Warwick. Raymon was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He is survived by his daughter: Kristen M. Cummiskey & her husband Ed of Port Jervis; his companion: Carol Neathery of Monticello; a stepson: Rich Panagakos of Middletown; four grandchildren: Lacey, Brett, Tyler & Mackenzie; and a brother: Leon Cole & his wife Selma. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5 from 10am -12 noon at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association-Lower Hudson Valley Chapter, 200 White Plains Road, Suite 523, Tarrytown, NY 10591.
