Robert J. Perez Sr. of Wurtsboro, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. He was 66.
The son of the late Julio Perez & Betty DiFranco Perez, he was born March 23, 1945 in New York City.
Robert was a plant manager for Tarricone Industries in Yonkers. He retired after more than 25 years of service. He was also part of the Teamsters Local #456 out of Yonkers, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Doris, at home; a son, Robert and his wife, Frances, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; a step-daughter, Denise Balackey of Danbury, CT; a daughter in-law, Marie Strik; a brother, Dominic Perez, of the state of Florida; six grandchildren: Robert & Christopher Perez, Wayne Balackey, Thomas James & Loren Strik & Richard Strik Jr.; two nieces, Betty Ann & her husband, Philip Alberti and Juliette & her husband, Daniel Lamberti and their families.
A Funeral Mass will be held on May 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520
