Obituary of Rocco Bellantoni

Rocco Bellantoni, Jr. of Rock Hill died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February2, 2011 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 39.
The son of Ann Petitto Bellantoni and the late Rocco Bellantoni Sr., he was born July 13, 1971 in Harris.
Rocco was a master craftsman and pedorathist who enjoyed a long partnership with his father Rocco Sr. of Re-Nu Shoe Repair, which spawned an additional entrepreneurial adventure for Rocco by opening his own orthopedic specialty shop.
He is survived by his wife: Laura Burday Bellantoni, at home; a sister: Annemarie Lecount & her husband Tom of Poughkeepsie; a brother: Joseph Bellantoni & his wife Lori of Cedartown, GA; nephew: Anthony Rocco Lecount & nieces: Anna and Elizabeth Bellantoni, and Isabelle Lecount; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6 from 2-5pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 7 at 10:00am at St. Peter's Church, Broadway & Liberty Street in Monticello with Fr. John Tran officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to Laura Bellantoni to be allocated to a meaningful cause of choice at a later date.
