Genevieve Albrecht, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her home in Monticello. She was 83.
The daughter of the late Lester Yeomans and Lillian Soules Yeomans, she was born June 22, 1927 in Monticello.
She is survived by her husband: Charles "Karl" Albrecht, at home; two sons: Lester Jackson of Mongaup Valley and Timothy Albrecht & his wife Yvonne of Monticello; two brothers: John Yeomans & his wife Barbara of Monticello, and William Yeomans of Sherman, PA; her grandchildren: Andrea Catalano & her husband Robert, and Randall Jackson & his wife Teresa, all of Colorado, Bianca Rose Albrecht and Isabel Albrecht of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister: Muriel Cleveland; and a brother: Lester Yeomans.
Graveside services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Forestburgh.
