Dorothy Jean Tucker, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at her home in Wurtsboro. She was 84.
The daughter of the late Charles White and Sara May Jones White, she was born December 24, 1926 in Coraopolis, PA. She was the widow of Joseph Tucker.
She is survived by her son Russell Stapleton & his wife Betty of Wurtsboro; two grandchildren: Russell Stapleton III and Amy Stapleton; and a great grandson: Joseph Stapleton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A funeral service will be held at some point during the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
