Angelina Colorito, passed away peacefully in her home in Wurtsboro, Monday, December 13, 2010, at the age of 79.
She was born on June 26, 1931, to Alphonso and Lucia Feo. Angelina is predeceased by her beloved husband of 25 years, Levino Colorito.
Angelina's most cherished role was as a wife, mother and grandmother. She volunteered in Rockland Center for the Arts, St. Dominic's Home and as President of the Chelsea H & L Co. 2 Ladies Auxiliary. She also was a Home Health Aide in Rockland County.
Similar to her artist husband, Levino, she later pursued her own art career as a sculptor as well as an accomplished painter.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Tina and Robert Kozak of Wurtsboro, Donna Colorito and David Scanlan of Nyack; her grandsons, Craig and Christopher Kozak of Wurtsboro.
A private service will be held in Angelina's honor, followed by internment in Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the COPD Foundation.
