Betty Jean Tyler a Residential Counselor for Sullivan ARC and long time area resident died November 9, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 52.
The daughter of the late John Tyler & Elizabeth A. VanGordan, she was born January 22, 1958 in Honesdale, PA.
She is survived by her two daughters: Kyra E. Matan and Jessica L. Matan, both of Monticello; two sisters: Vicki L. Smith and her husband, Anthony of FL and Rose M. Tyler and her companion, Mike Beseth of Hortonville; one brother, Fredrick W. Rieners of Ohio; 3 grandchildren: David A. Kimble Jr., Lizzie M. Kimble and Kaidin A. R. Awny; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, from 10-12pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Rev. Roy Shaffer will officiate.
