Obituary of Roy E. Kaywood

Roy E. Kaywood of Wurtsboro died Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 87.
The son of the late Frank Kaywood and Irene Hall Kaywood, he was born July 21, 1923 in Southfields, NY.
Roy was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and was the widow of Ruth Valentine Kaywood who predeceased him in 1998.
He is survived by a brother: Curtis Kaywood & his wife Charlotte of Wurtsboro; two nieces; and three nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother: George; and two sisters: Eleanor and Grace.
Graveside funeral services and burial with military honors will be held on Thursday, October 14 at 11:00am at the Monroe Cemetery, Route 17M in Monroe.
Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
