Obituary of Rosemary Mattesino

Rosemary Matessino, 80, of Spotsylvania County died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Matessino was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She was a volunteer at Mary Washington Hospital and at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Loughlin Crimmins; and her husband, Edward Matessino.
Survivors include two sons, James Matessino and his wife, Nancy, and Thomas Matessino; four daughters, Lila Matessino, Karen Karkos and her husband, Dan, Patricia McKenzie, and Janet Altman and her husband, Randy; a sister, Lila Burns; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass and interment will take place on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, in New York.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
