Obituary of Denise Marie Brouillard

Denise Marie Horton Brouillard, a lifelong resident of the area, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at her home in Walker Valley. She was 44.
The daughter of Patricia Lindsay Horton and the late Benjamin Miller Horton, she was born August 31, 1966 in Middletown and raised at the Horton Farm in Bloomingburg. She was a member of the Pine Bush High School Class of 1984. She spent her life raising her family and working as a home health aide.
She is survived by her children: Jacob Brouillard of Port Jervis, Devon Brouillard of Midlletown, Alexander Brouillard at home, Morgan Murphy at home, and Liam Ray; her companion: Robert Murphy at home; her mother Patricia Horton of Wurtsboro; two sisters: Diana Duffy (Steve) of Callicoon, and Nancy Hufcut (Michael) of Circleville; two brothers: Benjamin Horton (Shannon) of Roanoke, VA and James Horton (Julie) of Ringgold, GA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 12 at 5:00pm at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery in Bloomingburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Walker Valley Fire Dept.
