60 yrs old

 

Kenneth E. Bock, or Ken as most knew him, died on December 22, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 60 years old. The son of the late Robert Bock Sr, and Rosemary Moran Bock, Ken was born on January 11, 1964 in the Bronx.

 

A 25 year employee of the Sutphen East Corporation, Ken was proud of his artistic abilities in transforming the fire apparatus into his moving and operational works of art. He was known not only for his work on the firetrucks, but also for seeing them through from inception to delivery. He was a gifted painter and graphic designer and will be dearly missed.

Ken is survived by his devoted wife, Patti, at home; his son, Scott Bock, and daughter Amber Berger (Shaun); Brothers, Robert Bock Jr. (Hope), Michael Bock; Sister, Maryann Mueller (Raymond); Grandson, Kolton Berger, as well several nieces and nephews along with his entire extended family.

 

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello.

 

Services will be held during the visitation by Father Robert Porpora, of St. Peter’s RC Church of Monticello. After cremation, burial of his ashes be held in the St. Peter’s Cemetery.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
