Obituary of Anite Maxwell
Anite “Netesy” Maxwell of Wurtsboro, New York, a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Garnett Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. She was 83 years old.
The daughter of the late James L. Maxwell and Helen Ada Sisco, she was born November 14, 1941 in the Town of Ramapo, New York.
Netesy enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid doll collector. During her pastime, she enjoyed baking for many family gatherings. Anite also loved animals and cared for many different pets.
She is survived by her son and his wife, grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating.
