Obituary of Mark S. Crawford

Mark S. Crawford, a longtime resident of Glen Wild and Monticello, NY passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. He was 78.

The son of the late William and Sadie (Lattman), he was born February 8, 1946, in Monticello NY.

Mark was a skilled stone mason, always a perfectionist to his works of art. Mark was a veteran of the Army Reserves

He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Christina Crawford, at home; three children: Michael Crawford of Connecticut, Jesse Crawford and Melissa Crawford Passanante (Patrick DcDonough)  of Monticello; two beautiful granddaughters: Jasmine Passanante of Denver, CO., Sadie McDonough of Monticello; and his brothers: Ronald Crawford of Melbourne FL.,  Noel Crawford of Greenville, SC,  and many beloved neices and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, that he fiercely protected and loved: Jerome Crawford, Clint Crawford, Larry Crawford and Glenn Crawford.

Mark will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 9th from 10:00am to 12noon at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Burial is to follow at the Glen Wild Cemetery in Glen Wild N.Y.
