Obituary of Catherine O'Hagan

Catherine O’Hagan, a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at her home in Cuddebackville.  She was 85.

 

She was born September 14, 1939 in New York City.

 

Cathy loved riding motorcycles and going on camping trips.  Her happiest moments revolved around taking care of the many dogs that we had over the years.

 

She is survived by her husband of 43 years: Daniel F. O’Hagan; a daughter: Kim Pretino; a son: Matthew Pretino (Marisol); five grandchildren: Vinny, Brandon, Matthew, Krista and Kayla; her great grandchild: Grayson, born this year; a sister: Vicky; two brothers: George Hoeflick (Liz) and Fred Hoeflick (Sara); and several nieces and nephews.

 

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 2 from 1:00 to 4:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with a prayer service starting at 3:30pm.  Cremation will follow the services.
