Obituary of Charles Anthony Seitz Jr.

Charles Anthony Seitz Jr. “Chuck”, a former resident of the Basha Kill area of Westbrookville, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at his home in Willow Spring, North Carolina.  He was 67.

The son of the late Charles A. Seitz Sr. and Helen E. Stevens Paffenroth, he was born May 13, 1957 in Eldred, NY.

Chuck loved his family; he had a special love for playing his country music on his guitar and singing, especially for his family and friends. He was always posting his music videos on facebook.  He would give the shirt off his back and the last penny to his name if someone was in need.

Chuck loved fishing, auto racing, football, casinos and driving big rigs.  He was a professional tree climber and truck driver. He enjoyed driving the big rig trucks with his brothers and he had a passion for teaching his nephews the tree business and how to play the guitar.  Chuck also loved just sitting around and watching old western shows with his sisters.

He is survived by a son: Charles Brazington of Rock Hill; two daughters: Theresa Morgan of Eagle Lake, FL and Skye Seitz of Willow Spring, NC; two brothers: Richard (wife Patricia) Seitz of Afton, NY and Martin (wife Kelley) Seitz of Magnolia, NJ; three sisters: Deborah Webb of Larksville, PA, Cheryl Santise of Delhi, NY and Michelle (husband Toby) Smith of Willow Spring, NC; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister: Rhonda Seitz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro, NY with a funeral service starting at 1pm.  Burial will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
