Obituary of Deborah P. Colavito
Deborah, a homemaker from Brooklyn, who more recently resided in Monticello, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown.
The daughter of the late Vincent Russo and Geraldine Howard Beuther, she was born March 17, 1954 in Brooklyn.
Deborah was recently widowed from her husband of 48 years in May. The two of them have been inseparable in life and in death. She was a loving devoted family woman who would do just about anything to put a smile on even a strangers face. Deborah was a strong woman who endured many ailments throughout her life and put up a hell of a fight. She always loved collecting her angels and now she has become one.
She is survived by her children Dina, Darlene and husband Bruce, grandchildren Yvonte, Brianna, Kiarra and husband Chandler, Skyler, and Amber; siblings Denise Russo, Karen Smith and husband Al, William Beuther and wife Melissa, Darlene LaColla and late husband Ray.
A memorial gathering will be held for both Deborah and her husband Michael on Saturday, September 14 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello, with a prayer service starting at 3:00pm with Fr. Bob Porpora officiating.
