Obituary of Johnny Cleveland
Johnny Cleveland, known affectionately as “Hot Shot” of Monticello, a former security guard at the Care Center at Sunset Lake in Liberty, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. He was 58.
The son of the late Grover Cleveland Jr. and Jerleane Ellis Cleveland, he was born December 28, 1965 in Monticello.
He is survived by a son: Shamoy Cleveland of Monticello; a brother: Michael Cleveland of Schenectady; two sisters: Joyce Bennett of Buffalo, and Nancy Cleveland of Hyde Park; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister: Dana Cleveland Grace.
There were no public services following his immediate cremation.
