I was totally shocked and very sad to hear of Pete's passing. From about age 8, Pete and I were best friends, staying at each other's houses, riding our dirt bikes (and getting in trouble for riding where were not supposed to), eating at local diners, seeing anything playing at the local movie theaters, chasing girls, and all the usual (and some UNusual) adolescent stuff! Pete and his Mom were a very big influence on my life. They shaped my thoughts of how the world REALLY worked, my taste in music, what was right, and what was wrong. Without Pete, I would not be who I am today. It's a shame that I have only now realized that, and didn't get to tell Pete how he helped shape who I am today. But Pete has gone to that great race track in the sky. The world is now less than it was.
