Betty Jane, a former resident and employee of the East Georgia Medical Regional Center in Statesboro, GA passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Westchester Medical Center in the Town of Mount Pleasant. She was 55.

 

The daughter of Lewis F. Willey and Elizabeth Ann Smelser, she was born December 20, 1967, in New York, NY.

 

She is survived by her only son, Lewis Alton Hollister (Monticello, NY); her father Lewis F. Willey (Fairlawn, NJ); a brother, Stanley E. Willey (Fairlawn, NJ); and sisters: Suzanne Schreter (Aledo, TX) and Debrah Lee Perkins (Oneonta, NY); along with several loving Nieces and Nephews.

 

She was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Ann Hollister; a sister, Lisane Marie Snyder; and nephew Aaron Willey.

 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a funeral service starting at 4:30pm.
