Frank Muller, Sr., a resident of Kenoza Lake, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010, with his family at his side at Tucker Center for Cancer at the Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 78 years old. The son of the late Henry and Caroline Hyll Muller, Frank was born on May 20, 1931 in Queens. Survivors include his six children and their spouses: Patti and Glenn Sonnenschein, Peggi and Robert Flemming, Penni and Randy Weiss Sr., Frank Jr. and Lisa Muller, Douglas Muller and his companion, Barbara Carr, and Pammi and Robert Mroczek. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and his companion, Jane DePaolo and her family. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine, in 2002 and his oldest grandson, Daniel Bivins Jr. in 2000. Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and companion. He will be forever remembered as a family man, proud of all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank believed in working hard and truly enjoyed the "simple things" life had to offer. He was an active member and trustee of the Kenoza Lake United Methodist Church, loved to garden and work on construction projects. Most recently, he loved to travel with his loving companion, Jane, cherishing the wonders of the world. An Open House will be held to celebrate Frank's life on Monday, April 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Douglas Muller's residence, 97 Rapp Rd., Monticello. Please join in our celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kenoza Lake United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church or to O.R.M.C., Tucker Center for Cancer at ORMC.org. Frank will be cremated and a memorial service has been scheduled for Sunday, May 16, at the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. with Pastor Bridget LeConey officiating.
