Patricia Sturgis Rauch of Rock Hill, N.Y. passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was 70.
The daughter of the late Harold Sturgis & Emma Liholt Sturgis, she was born on December 31, 1939 in Monticello, N.Y.
Patricia was a legal secretary for the NYS court system and various local attorneys. She was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Monticello, NY, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her husband Richard W. Rauch at home: two sons; Richard S. Rauch and his wife Debbie of New Paltz, NY, & John M. Rauch and his wife Doren of Palm Harbor, FL: a daughter; Lauren Carmody and her husband Ian of Bridgewater, NJ: two Brothers; Richard T. Sturgis & Harold W. Sturgis: six grandchildren; Shane, Emma, Kylen and Kiera Carmody & Dylan and Max Rauch; As well as numerous lifelong friends.
A funeral service for Patricia will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 12 noon at the St. John's Episcopal Church on 15 St. John's Street, Monticello, NY. Rev. Ninon Hutchinson will officiate. A private burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patti's name to a local charity of ones choice.
