Obituary of Ronald J. Croce

Ronald “Ronnie” Joseph Croce of Wurtsboro, NY passed away on June 30tth at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown.  Ronnie was born on March 24, 1944 in Brooklyn NY to Elmore and Eleanor (Fontana) Croce who both predeceased him.  He was also predeceased by his brother Richard.

Ronnie moved to Wurtsboro the - place he felt most peaceful because of his beloved Grandmother Matilda Croce.  She meant the world to him.  For him it was coming home.

Ronnie is survived by his most special friends Charlie and Tammy Corrigan and their daughter Tammy Lee Hubbert and new born son William who have all devoted so much love and care for him. He was so thrilled to be able to see William.  He was a true uncle to them and loved them dearly.  He is also survived by many friends and Croce cousins, including his goddaughter Barbara Croce Cardana of South Carolina who shared a special bond with him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro.  His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7 at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating.
