Obituary of Alan Oquendo

Alan Oquendo of Ellenville passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at his home.  He was 56.

The son of Alice and Valentine Oquendo he was born December 29, 1965 in the Bronx.

Alan attended Alfred E. Smith High School and graduated with a degree in Auto Mechanics. He was a loving caregiver while he lived in the Bronx and went on to work with his brother at Imperial Schrade knife manufacturer. He talked often of the love he had for his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Steven, Valarie and Alex Oquendo; two sisters, two brothers, many nieces, nephews, loving cousins, and a host of friends.

Memorial Services for Alan will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the New Testament Church of Jesus Christ at 39 Clinton Ave in Ellenville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The New Testament Church of Jesus Christ in Ellenville.
