Catherine A. Cronk died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her home in Monticello. She was 71.
Born June 19, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut, Catherine worked for many of the Sullivan County resorts as a waitress.
She is survived by two sons: Stephen Covington of Livingston Manor and Billy Covington of state of Florida; three daughters: Dawn & Steven Giaccone of Kiamesha Lake, April Covington of Ellenville and Beth-Ann Scarbo of Hurleyville; a sister: Joyce Bovee of Jamestown; 9 grandchildren: Carrie & Rick, Timothy Michael, Stephen, Alex, Nicholas, Anthony, Bobby, Angel & Timothy; 10 great-grandchildren: Amberose, Maria, Alan, Mariah, Krystal, Savannah, Brooklyn, Madison, Austene & Melanie; and several nieces and nephews.
Catherine was predeceased by two sons: Jimmy and Timothy Covington; a grandson Jesse Fruchtman; and a granddaughter Nanette Specht.
Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00am at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.
