Timothy Joseph Kissane of Monticello, a retired chef for the Concord Resort Hotel in Kiamesha Lake, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was surrounded by his loving family when he passed and will be dearly missed.
The son of the late Timothy Kissane and Margaret Cahill Kissane, he was born July 27, 1934 in County Kerry, Ireland. He loved cooking for his family, The Mets, gardening, and antiquing.
He is survived by his wife: Philomena Dillon Kissane, at home; two sons: Patrick Kissane of Monticello and Brendan Kissane of Manhattan; two daughters: Mairead Smialek & her husband Michael Smialek of Chicago, IL, and Shannon Kissane Goldsmith & her husband Robert Goldsmith of Manhattan; four grandchildren: Fiona, Quinn, Oliver and Dillon; two brothers: Dennis and Patrick; and a sister: Rita. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Donal.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
